Assisted Lives is a well-established and experienced local provider of high quality and bespoke Personalised Care & Support Services in the Bradford District and surround areas.

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will work closely with the Quality Assurance Lead and the Registered Manager using our internal quality assurance systems to continually improve the quality of service and safety of care and service delivery ensuring compliance with all, legal, CQC and Local Authority requirements.

QUALITY CONTROL

  • To assist the Quality Assurance Lead to implement the monitoring and quality control processes under the Company’s Quality Monitoring Policy.
  • To assist the Quality Assurance Lead and the Registered Manager in carrying out surveys, monitoring Staff performance, training and supervising staff in Quality Control assessments.
  • To be familiar with and to implement the Company’s policies and procedures and all legislative and regulatory requirements relating to the activities of the Company.
  • To be aware of the Quality Assurance Policy of the Company in the provision of a quality service to the Service Users.
  • To represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, on the telephone, face to face or in written communication.

As part of your role, your duties will include:

  1. Actively monitoring our live digital care management systems.
  • Accurately, monitor, analyse, and actioning any live data in line with Company standards.
  • Contributing to and communicating effectively within team meetings sharing expertise in quality and systems.
  • Positively promoting and encouraging quality and compliance.
  • Developing appropriate recommendations based on audit outcomes and presenting to relevant departments.
  • Assist with knowledge and training and induction around; the Birdie and digital care management systems to new and existing staff. Full training will be provided.
  • Maintaining and inputting data into the Birdie system ensuring all Service User and Support Worker information is updated and accurate. Full training will be provided.
  • Compliance monitoring- Reducing risk identifying opportunities for improvement and ensure that we remain compliant to both our regulatory and internal standards
  • Manage monitoring for and actioning in response to:-
  1. Clocking in and out of care calls and accurately liasing with support staff.
  1. Managing monitoring for medication alerts and report to management staff.
  1. Monitoring notes recorded for care calls and report to management staff.
  1. Supporting staff and the families of service users and acting as a conduit for information and guidance.
  1. Supporting the investigation of care concerns when necessary and completing reports and notifications as required
  1. The development of new and ongoing oversight requirements by supporting the research and development of the compliance monitoring plan.
  1. Ensuring the implementation and delivery of the Quality Assurance framework through an agreed programme of audit activity.
  1.  Reporting on data relating to care and service delivery.

ESSENTIAL

DESIRABLE
  NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care.Professional qualification Experience as a supervisor or senior care worker or other role within a care providing organisation.
