We are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer to join our Finance Team. As an integral part of the Finance Team, you will be delivering financial objectives while ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organisation. You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. You will be working closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making processes.

Role Purpose:

Process and record financial transactions including invoices, expenses, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.

· Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

· Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities as required.

· Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

· Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures, including tax regulations and reporting requirements.

· Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed.

· Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance metrics to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

· Monitor cash flow, forecasting cash needs, and managing cash balances to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational requirements.

· Maintain and improve financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.

Salary: £23,000-24,000

This role is full time office-based work – contracted 37.5 hours per week.
